Personalized Name Cribbage Board.

Truly a unique one-of-a-kind item.

Each cribbage board is creatively designed to follow the shape of whatever names (or words) you would like the board to be designed around.

I had been requested in the past to make some of these and I do enjoy the challenge of creating them.
It was suggested a few times to list them on Etsy...so here they are.

I don't like listing or viewing items with no clear price, but I will say the prices tend about $.80 per square inch.
There isn't much difference in price whether I'm using decorative-ply Baltic Birch plywood (shown) or solid 3/4" Cherry Hardwood because the savings in plywood over solid hardwood is offset by the amount of time and varnish needed to get the decorative-ply plywood smooth.
The boards in the photos shown are each about 8"x18" and cost $120.
That's also about as small as I want to make these since anything smaller tends to make the holes too close together for comfortable playing.

As usual, the characteristics that set my boards apart from most are:
1. Three rows. Third person doesn't have to wait to play "the winner" or use a piece of paper and pen to keep score.
2. Orderly hole spacing. No confusing bends or corners. Easily count by fives. Skunk location marked.
3. Large for comfortable playing without pegs rubbing or having to have small nimble fingers.
4. Finished with multiple coats of highest quality conversion varnish for superior resistance to sunlight, water, and cleaning chemicals.
5. Non-marking bumpers on back side keep board and surface being played on mark-free. Bumpers are screwed on - not stick-on.
6. Peg storage with cover on back side. Includes three (3) sets of different colored scoring pegs.
7. Locally made by my son and me, one at a time, in the small quiet town of Hanover, Minnesota.
